ABOUT ME

My name is Christian Johnson. I’ve spent more than thirty years working inside busy operations, under real pressure. I didn’t come into leadership through privilege or theory. I started as a sixteen-year-old dishwasher and worked every role along the way including; bartender, manager, director, operator, and business owner.

My career was built in environments where mistakes were expensive and leadership mattered. I was brought into struggling operations to stabilize them, not with slogans or shortcuts, but with clarity, consistency, and accountability. I told people what the job required, held the line when it was uncomfortable, and focused on fixing problems in ways that actually lasted.

I’ve led and stabilized businesses across varied operating models, ownership structures, and levels of complexity,  including my own.

I’ve dealt with every kind of employee challenge, customer pressure, and operational breakdown. Over time, I learned how to bring order to chaos and how to build leadership systems that function in real life; not just on paper.

​Today, through GCJ Consulting, I work as a Leadership & Operations Consultant. I provide an experienced outside perspective to owners and senior leaders who are carrying too much and want their businesses to operate with more stability and less dependence on them.

I’m direct, honest, and focused on progress. I don’t offer quick fixes or empty promises. I help leaders see patterns clearly, make better decisions, and stop problems from quietly compounding.
